Today I am delivering 2 of my paintings to my local art league for a monthly group showing. I am a beginner at this because up to now I didn't think that I had any that were good enough. I think that I'm getting better at this and maybe even finding my artistic voice. Here are the paintings, both in pastel. They are each 9" x 12" using Colourfix paper and Nupastels and Rembrandts. As you can see, I am a colorist. It is my goal to capture the energy of my subjects through light and color, rather than go for the completely realistic depiction.
